Dr. James Shaeffer became the fifth President of Your Â鶹ÊÓƵ on July 1, 2019.
His field of expertise is in education. Dr. Shaeffer earned his Bachelors’ of Elementary Education, Iowa State University 1979, and Masters of Science in Multicultural Education, Kansas State University, 1981, and his Doctorate of Education, Teaching and Learning, at Northwestern University in 1986.
As President of Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Dr. Shaeffer leads the faculty and staff of ESCC in serving Virginia’s Eastern Â鶹ÊÓƵ with two-year degree programs, workforce certifications as well as customized training for businesses and industry.
